Everyone who came was blessed.
As they were blessed, they blessed others.
All of the group, except a few who had left early, gathered at the parking lot near the Nursing Building on the Southwestern Adventist University campus all too early for anyone to be alert for the trip to the airport.
After many long hours on the plane the airport at Santa Domingo was a welcome and exciting sight.
Each day brought a new experience—some was hard work, some relaxing, but all interesting!
Medicines needed to be prepared and supplies set up. The clinicals were always exhausting. But in the evening, the dedication of the church that had been a project of these mission outreaches was rewarding that made everyone forget the tiredness.
There was time for a break away from the intense clinics—the time spent on a Caribbean beach will not be forgotten!
The last Sunday was finally a time for spring break at the beach!
The last morning, Monday, brought the usual early trip to the airport, then a flight to Miami and finally back to Texas, arriving in the middle of afternoon.
It was good to be home to see loved ones and friends.
